Gourmet-Snow-Picnic at the «VIP ski race» and «Mathis Gala Dinner» at the St. Moritz Award 2011
On 18 March 2026 the «VIP ski race» at Corviglia will be happening for the first time within the framework of the St. Moritz Award 2011. Among other things Reto Mathis will be in charge of the Gourmet-Snow-Picnic right next to the ski-slope – a culinary highlight!
Another highlight is the «Mathis Gala Dinner» at the ceremonial Award-Night at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel on 19 March 2011.
The prestigious award honours international personalities and organisations for using their privileged public status for the good of others. The award recognises significant contributions in the charitable and human rights fields.
One of the two prize winners is Johann Olav Koss, the former Norwegian speed skater, multiple Olympic medallist and world record holder, and the international organisation founded by him, Right to Play, which helps children all over the world to gain a new outlook on life through play and sport.
The other is the famous tenor José Carreras and his «José Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation», which has dedicated its efforts against this blood disease since the star tenor recovered from it in 1988.
